Pentland Plants and Scotgrow first came together in 2003 to create a unique event. Taking place annually in the middle of August at Pentland Plants Nursery at Loanhead it is an opportunity for growers and suppliers to meet up and do business. Amongst the many visitor attractions are Pentland Plants high-tech replugging and seed sowing machines in operation, its renowned field trials where all the established varieties of bedding and basket plants are on show, acres of polytunnels and tours of the nursery. Add to that some 50 trade exhibitors all under the one roof and there's something for everyone involved in the growing business. Admission is free with on site car parking and catering facilities.
