AgriScot reached the final of the Scottish Events Awards after being nominated under the Best Exhibition Category.
The nomination focused on the fact that AgriScot is a free to attend, business-to-business event showcasing innovation, best practice and the latest advice from 240 exhibitors and featuring a full programme of policy and professional seminars accommodated within 17,000m2 of indoor exhibition space.
Since the first AgriScot event in 2001, visitor numbers have more than doubled; a significant number of visitors are key decision makers in their business – 65% are farmers. Tradestand numbers have increased by 50% since 2001 with many exhibitors significantly expanding their footprint.
Annie and Martin from the Rural Project team were joined by AgriScot Director, Robert Hunter, to collect the Commendation that was awarded to AgriScot at the Scottish Events Awards ceremony in Glasgow in October.
